A change at the helm: Youth Crime Watch of America bids fond farewell to Executive Director Terry Modglin and welcomes aboard new CEO Chris DiCarlo. YCWA welcomes its 2008-2009 Board of Directors. Barrington Irving - the youngest person to fly solo around the world - spoke at YCWA's national conference in Miami, FL, March 26-29, 2008. YCW board member Doug Hughes receives Martin Luther King award. Congressman Allen Boyd accepted YCWA's National Champion of Youth Award in a special ceremony January 11 at the Swift Creek Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida. Chiara goes to Washington: Youth Crime Watcher Chiara Perkins represented the youth of America at the President's Whitehouse Panel on School Safety
