April 2010: YCW of Nigeria moves its offices to Abuja.
April 2010: Read The Watchman, the new official newsletter of YCW Jamaica. Also on the island, the E.U. gives a nod to community safety successes in Flanker.
April 2010: Meeting under a mango tree brings together new JCC/YCW program sites in Guinea-Bissau.

Feb 2010: JCC/YCW celebrates its first year in Guinea-Bissau with a two-day event.
January 2010: The kids at Feinstein Middle School in Coventry, Rhode Island, raised over $11,000 for Haiti with a secret auction and pasta dinner event. Great work!

Kentucky: Students at Turkey Foot middle school test their detective skills and dust the halls for fingerprints. Also, a bully box, a "true" beer label, backpack handouts and more great ideas from the bluegrass state!
2009: Look for a Youth Crime Prevention Conference coming up in Kentucky in June. YCW leaders in the bluegrass state have been building support and gathering resources for the event. Stay tuned!

2009: Florida: Five student projects received grant awards to help take learning beyond the classroom. Grant project topics include drunk driving, cyberbullying, and underage drinking.
2009: Texas: Students in the Harlandale Middle School YCW created an original PSA spot against drunk driving. Great job!
