Purpose: To develop the leadership capacity of key youth members of the YCW site.
Length: One or two days
Target Audience: High School Age Youth (may be suitable for some middle schoolers)
Curriculum Components:
- Assessing their personal leadership style
- Identifying the elements of good planning
- Learning to utilize basic communication skills for leadership
- Gaining techniques concerning how to relate to adults in adult-led institutions
- A basic understanding of the value and dynamics of prevention and how it works.
